He has been a member of the Royal College of Psychiatric since September 1984 and graduated from College of Medicine – University of Baghdad in 1976 . He has worked in different mental hospitals in U.K., New Zealand and several Arab countries and participated for teaching and training purposes. He has been a chairperson of the Medical Board in Al-Amal Hospital one day a week and member of different clinical, administrative and forensic committees. He has also been participating in interviewing psychiatrists for evaluation to get work license for Ministry of Health and Prevention-United Arab Emirates.
