if this is a recurrent problem, an internal examination to look at the walls of the vaginal and the cervix " the neck of the uterus" may help find a cause, but in most cases there will be no cause. Regards

You may take birth control pills, this should make your period regular, furthermore, a special kind of coils ( Mirena) may alos help you. I advise you to discuss this with your doctor and try and see how irrigular your periods are and decide on the best treatment. Regards
