I assume removal of the uterus was performed because it was affecting either the life or the quality of life a woman. Therefore, you would expect sexual function to be negatively affected. The medical research has shown that sexual function improves after removing the uterus (+/_ the ovaries) compared to before .However, you should also consider the psychological condition of a woman after hysterectomy, where some may feel low because of that for various reasons. Talking about sexual function in the context of hysterectomy should also consider the overall evaluation of the sex life.
