Respiredal is not known to cause absence of your period, and I advise you not to stop it except after you see your doctor who is looking after you. I also advise you to see a gynaecology doctor to try and find out why you have not had a period for that long period of time, this may include blood investigations and other tests. Regards

There is a relation between when you start the pills and the day of your period, and the protection you get, therefore i advise you to start the pills early, you may start them with your next period, it may take sometime for you to get used to the tablets and learn how to remember taking them. Regards
