From your description, your period is reasonably regular and those two days of early or late start of your period are not significant. The ovulation usually takes place 14 days BEFORE the start of your next cycle. For example if you expect your period to start on the 1st of December, then the ovulation is around the 17th of November. But, and this is the important, if you and your husband are together every day, there is NO reason, for you and your husband to worry at all about the day of ovulation. I advise you to have intercourse two to three times every week, and this should be OK. After few months if pregnancy does not happen, I advise you to see a doctor. Regards

The increase in the hormone level is not dangerous its self, but we have to find out why it is increased, and try and treat it. The hormone its self is not toxic. Regards

Doctors don't routinely request a test to measure progesterone level in the blood. We usually ask for this test in women with fertility problems and sometime in women with problems in hair growth. Furthermore, the level of this hormone changes in the different parts of the period, therefore we should always look when the test was done in the menstrual period to answer if it is high or not. More importantly, why did your doctor ask for this test? If you give us more information about your condition, we may be able to give you some answers. Regards.
