This is not uncommon to happen after delivery, the question is how is your wife now, does she have any symptoms like poor control of gases and stool, is the "social" life normal. Your wife may have surgery to correct the defect the happened. Regards

Do you know the blood group of your baby? if it is negative then dont worry, if positive, I advise you to do a blood test on your self called Anti-D antidodies IgG, if negative then there should be no problems. Regards

Generally speaking, it is safe, but we have to evaluate the risk of the pregnant woman of developing blood clots, is the risk is high; we may have to give her some medicine to reduce the increased risk associated with the high altitude. I advise you to increase fluid intake, walk around in the plane and exercise your legs during the flight. Regards
