The loop does not delay fertility, once you decided to get pregnant again, you just remove it and you will be ready for pregnancy. A " good" time between pregnancies is probably two years. Regards

How soon after removing the loop and treating the neck of the uterus you started to have the pain, fever and the discharge?, I advise you to go and see your doctor again and soon, to make sure that you did not develop an infection inside your pelvis. Regards

The LH hormone is what triggers the ovary to release the egg at mid cycle, after that it remains high to supports the ovary to produce hormones that support the lining of the uterus for the first two weeks after fertilization. The pregnancy (the fertilized egg) starts to produce another hormone called HCG that will take over the function of the LH hormone. In other words, it remains high for around two weeks then drop after that, it drops earlier if fertilization does not happen. Regards
