Hi. Having low TSH as such is not diagnostic of hyper or hypothyroidism. U need to do Free T4 and Free T3 as well in order to interpret the result better. Bear in mind that any non hormonal illness that lead to hospital admission can lead to low TSH.  So we need to know more about your history, and free t4 and free t3 in order to inform better. Hope u find it useful.

Hi. At early morning the level of TSH can be elevated and hence patients may be falsely labeled as having hypothyroidism. Ideally TSH has to be checked in the afternoon period from 1 to 3 pm. A single reading above 10 should lead to thyroid hormone prescription. However if the level falls between 5 and 10, the decision to give thyroxine or not depends on case by case basis. Hope u find it useful.

Hi. Ideally u need to use a continuous glucose monitor device called “free style Libre” which would be quite helpful in predicting what will happen to your blood glucose in the next few hours and accordingly it will be quite helpful for to judge your novorapid dose correctly and thus avoiding fluctuations. In addition try to use insulin toujeo instead of Lantus as that insulin Carries less risk of low blood sugar and can be easily uptitrated  to achieve your fasting glucose target without fear of low sugars. Hope u find it useful.
