Hi, Having a TSH of 9 is consistent with the diagnosis of underactive thyroid. U need to do further blood tests to assess u better such as Free T3 Free T4 and thyroid ultrasound along with thyroid antibody test called ( TPO thyroid peroxidase). U can start taking thyroxine at dose of 50 ug single pill daily and repeat the TSH after 6 weeks. Hope u find it useful.

Hi. It looks like he is having overactive thyroid gland. TSH level is inversely proportional to the activity of thyroid gland. He has to do further blood tests to assess the severity and the cause of overactivity such as T3 T4 and TSH receptor antibody titer along with thyroid ultrasound. Hope u find it useful.

Hi. He can do 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitor while he is off treatment for at least 1 week. If the mean blood pressure is fine and there is no other indications to prescribe olmetic then it can be stopped but u need to keep monitor blood pressure every now and then manually at home even if it is stopped. Hi. The test results show that your basal growth hormone level is quite high and u have a pituitary lesion of 8 mm in diameter. The prolactin level is only mildly elevated (28.7 ng) (ideally it should be less than 25 ng in females.It looks like the main problem is that your pituitary tumor of 8 mm is secreting extra amount of growth hormone and the ideal treatment is to go for surgery.U need to do further blood tests: IGF-1, LH,FSH and estradiol, cortisol. all tests at morning (9 am fasting).If u wish to take medical treatment rather than to go for surgery then u can take dostinex (oral pills that can lower both milk hormone and growth hormone) and a monthly injection called ''sandostatin LAR''. But i think that the ideal treatment in your case is ''surgery''. Hope u find it useful.
